Duties and responsibilities

  • To arrange technical specifications for customs clearance of imported and exported goods
  • Preparation and check of documents required for customs clearance
  • Review and verification of Cargo Declaration;
  • Collaboration in determination and assignment of HS Code for Import
  • Experience in process, appliance and obtainment of Classification Resolution or Duty Exemption documents
  • Work and control with permitting documents, non-tariff regulation, specifications, etc.
  • Controlling customs clearance procedure and DOOR deliveries to be performed in due time without delay on execution
  • Day by day cooperation with Customs Broker, Freight Forwarder, Client, Project team, and in inhouse team in Milan & Moscow
  • Attending and supervision of the loading/offloading works at SITE, ports and temporary jetties, road and river survey, assistance and representation in Customs Authorities
  • Survey activities and Reporting to Project Team
  • Coordination and control all deliveries as inland and well as international
  • Coordination of arrival of trucks with project equipment and materials including Out of gauge and Heavy lift equipment and release of entry permits
  • Supervision during transportation of OS/HL from arrival port/jetty up to foundation/laydown area
  • Supervision of unloading operations of trucks, including night shift
  • Update on daily/weekly basis ongoing status of customs clearance and shipping activities;
  • Preparation of issues correctness of Weekly & Monthly Progress Reports both Customs clearance Status/Register & Transportation
  • Control of material arrival, supporting Material Management to issue of Overage, Shortage & Damage Reports (OS&D)
  • Building professional relationships with Client, Freight Forwarder and Customs broker
  • Attendance to periodical meetings with Client, Site Construction and Material Team & sub-contractors related to Transport and Customs activities

Person Specification

Knowledge & Qualifications

  • University degree
  • Fluent English, Native Russian speaker
  • Knowledge of technical aspects and cargo description particularities (experience in/or Chemical, Petrochemical, Power Plant, Industrial, Gas, Oil & Gas companies or fields)

Experience

  • Minimum 5-7 years of working experience as Logistic Engineer/Site Logistic & Material Specialist or Coordinator

Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to represent Company in State & Commercial organization and local Authorities
  • Ability to work under pressure due to critical demands of Project
  • Good coordination skills self-motivated & results oriented. Problem-solver, being capable to handle/fix difficult situations.
