Job summary/Role description

SPL reports to the Site Control Manager.

SPL ensures Construction planning by controlling deviations and prepares the reports.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Develop the Construction Schedule within the period established in the Project Schedule;
  • Prepare the standard man-hour estimates based on the design quantities and the established WBS;
  • Feed Schedule with estimated standard Manhours to obtain the Progress Curves and Manpower Histograms;
  • Ensure that the schedules developed by the Subcontractors, as per their contractual obligations, are in alignment with the Level 4 Construction Schedule;
  • Perform schedule control at the cut-off dates and provide a forecast on completion dates especially if any adverse trends occur so that the recovery plan can be effectively enforced;
  • Assess physical progress at the cut-off dates, taking note of any evidence of deviations from the baseline and suggesting the remedial actions, if any;
  • Perform manpower control by collecting time sheets from the Subcontractors and compare the actual manpower against the planned, as per the baseline; repare the weekly/monthly Progress Report related to the Site activities in accordance with the Project Procedures.


  • At least 5 years’ experience in a similar position in Oil & Gas, Refinery plants; EPC Companies;
  • Similar role covered in their last three projects as a minimum.
