Job summary/Role description

The HR Coordinator will be responsible for all related activities to HR and coach management regarding employee relations and policy application. The HRC provides support to the local project and plays a significant role in the management and operations of HR services to the company. This role will be project based with strong links to the corporate function, in particular the Human Resources department.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Support the mobilisation and on boarding of personnel who are new to the project/function, also through effective project induction;
  • Involved in the talent acquisition, recruiting and selection of employees;
  • Support insourcing, outsourcing and automating transactions;
  • Provide accurate advice to employees and management on general HR policies/procedures and manage the processes around these;
  • Ensure compliance with local employment legislation and provide advice to senior management;
  • Manage the HR Operations which includes internal systems and job boards;
  • Maintain employee files and paperwork (on-boarding paperwork, I-9 documentation, payroll, etc.);
  • Assist with administering our programs and ongoing employee support/guidance (benefits, referral bonus, training, etc.);
  • Maintain employee confidentiality with all employee information/files;
  • Assist with searching for active and passive candidates through networks and active sourcing;
  • Coordinate, review and oversee performance using process and metrics; 
  • Develop and implement policy matters affecting manpower planning, recruitment and selection, performance reviews, induction programs, training and development;
  • Support in the management of redundancy, grievance and discipline investigations, hearings, and sick absence issues.


Knowledge & Qualifications

  • University degree in a relevant discipline;
  • Candidates must have fundamental knowledge of labour and employment law;
  • Knowledge of compensation and benefits packages, flexible benefits and pensions packages;
  • Other experience: recruiting, employee relations, benefits administration, expatriate administration, visa administration, transit checks.


  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar position;
  • Experience in the Oil & Gas, petrochemical and/or EPC sectors;
  • Similar role covered in projects that are of a comparable size;

Skills and Abilities

  • Native Polish speaker;
  • Fluent English;
  • Excellent IT and analytical skills;
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills;
  • Strong interpersonal, team-oriented skills, self-motivation and direction, with strong bias toward timely performance and problem resolution;
  • Attention to detail, strong communications and interpersonal skills.
