Job summary/Role description

The HSE Supervisor Scaffolding verifies and ensures that all Scaffolding activities are performed according to the Site HSE Policy as well as its regulations, standards and procedures in order to perform the corrective action as required.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Check that the Subcontractors perform their activities in accordance with the HSE procedures, regulation and standards, to ensure that they are properly observed;
  • To coordinate work at height scaffolding operations;
  • Co-operate with the Client concerning any necessary Permit To Works for the Scaffolding activities;
  • Update the HSE Scaffolding documentations during the all the construction phases when deemed necessary;
  • Organize, plan and participate in the periodical HSE walk around, inspections and audits on site.
  • Prepare all the relevant reports, action plans, as well as the follow up and the timely execution of the corrective action;
  • Organize, coordinate and directly participate in the HSE Training activities on site; 
  • To organize and participate in all relevant site HSE Meetings as well as prepare the relevant MOM;
  • Organize, in case of work accidents, a full investigation of the event, finalizing the identification of corrective measure to avoid reoccurrence;
  • Keep accident records, identifying the areas in which prevention must be addressed;

Knowledge & Qualifications

  • University Degree or Diploma in a relevant discipline or equivalent.

Experience

  • Experience in construction of Large/XL Oil & Gas, Refinery plants; EPC Companies;
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as an HSE Scaffolding Supervisor.

Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent IT and analytical skills;
  • Attention to detail, excellent communications skills;
  • Strong interpersonal, team-oriented skills, self-motivation and direction, with strong bias toward timely performance and problem resolution.
