 Job summary/Role description

 The HSE Supervisor verifies and ensures that all Field activities are performed according to TCM’s HSE Policy as well as its regulations, standards and procedures in order to perform the corrective action as required.

 Duties and responsibilities

  • Perform the Job Hazardous Analysis (JHA) as well as the Job Safety Analysis (JSA);
  • Verify the adequacy and application of the site’s HSE Plan and all related procedures, to prepare any revisions;
  • Update the HSE documentations during the all the construction phases when deemed necessary; 
  • Check that the Subcontractors perform their activities in accordance with the HSE procedures, regulation and standards, to ensure that they are properly observed;
  • Organize, plan and participate in the periodical HSE walk around, inspections and audits on site.
  • Prepare all the relevant reports, action plans, as well as the follow up and the timely execution of the corrective action;
  • Organize, coordinate and directly participate in the HSE Training activities on site; 
  • To organize and participate in all relevant site HSE Meetings as well as prepare the relevant MOM;
  • Co-operate with the Client concerning issues with any necessary work permits;
  • Organize, in case of work accidents, a full investigation of the event, finalizing the identification of corrective measure to avoid reoccurrence;
  • Keep accident records, identifying the areas in which prevention must be addressed;
  • Perform the indoctrination / training of personnel;
  • Lead and coordinate the activities of the Site HSE Committee (composed by all Contractor and Subcontractors HSE Representative);
  • Lead and coordinate the site emergency response team and fire prevention/fighting team, organizing training and emergency drill mock activities;
  • Prepare the HSE section of the construction monthly progress report and other periodical reports;
  • Prepare and update the Site HSE Statistics, verifying the performance versus the Project and corporate HSE Objective, Targets and performance indicators; and propose a recovery plan in case of a mismatch.

 Knowledge & Qualifications

  • University Degree or Diploma in a relevant discipline or equivalent.


  • Experience in construction of Large/XL Oil & Gas, Refinery plants;
  • 3-5 years of previous work experience as an HSE Supervisor.

  • Excellent IT and analytical skills;
  • Attention to detail, excellent communications skills;
  • Strong interpersonal, team-oriented skills, self-motivation and direction, with strong bias toward timely performance and problem resolution.
