Job summary/Role description

Document Controller (DOC) is responsible for the overall control and management of all incoming and outgoing documents throughout the project timeline. Manages and controls the release of information to and from the project team as well as the internal communication, which includes calculations, reports and drawings.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Verifying conformity of documents and digitally transmitting and archiving project drawings and documents;
  • Compiling, scanning, filing, archiving, printing, copying, registration, retrieval and transmission of engineering documentation;
  • Monitor the progress of project documentation, update and register the receipt and document distribution;
  • Manage the mailbox and distribute e-mails to the correct parties and make sure employees have a correct administrative follow-up;
  • Recording technical documents including drawings and specifications;
  • Maintain a web-based filling system that supports efficient information management (SDMS);
  • Coordinate storage and archiving of project and organizational records.

Knowledge & Qualifications

Relevant university degree

Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Oil & Gas, Refinery plants; EPC Companies.

Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent IT and analytical skills;
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills;
  • Strong interpersonal, team-oriented skills, with a strong bias toward timely performance and problem resolution;
  • Self-motivated and a good sense of direction;
  • Attention to detail;
